FAQs
ARE ANESTHESIA LENSES DISPOSABLE?
Yes. Only your eye care professional can determine the best wearing schedule for you. The original range of 12 Anesthesia lenses are designed for 6 monthly wear. You can purchase 1 colour, 2 colours, or more, and wear them to match your mood or outfit.
FREQUENT REPLACEMENT CONTACT LENSES ARE SUPPOSED TO BE DISCARDED AFTER A PERIOD OF TIME. CAN I CONTINUE TO WEAR THEM IF THEY ARE STILL COMFORTABLE AFTER THE RECOMMENDED WEARING PERIOD?
Contact lens materials vary, and contacts should not be worn for longer than the wearing period recommended by your eye care professional. It is important to replace contact lenses on a frequent basis to help prevent discomfort, dryness, blurred vision or allergic reaction that can result from a build-up of protein and lipid deposits on the contact lenses.
WILL ANESTHESIA LENSES BE SUITABLE IF I HAVE BLACK/DARK BROWN EYES?
Absolutely! As the best-selling contact lenses of the Middle East with a large dark eyed population, you can be sure that Anesthesia contact lenses appear bright, radiant and true to colour on all different eye colours. Our line of luxury lenses are designed to give you the power to glam up your look in just seconds.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I DISPOSE OF MY COLOUR CONTACTS?
Anesthesia recommends replacement of Anesthesia Lenses at intervals of every 6 months. Your eye care professional may determine a replacement schedule greater or less than these suggested intervals based upon clinical examination of the patient, professional judgement and clinical experience with the contact lenses because individual response to contact lenses vary. Please consult the instructions leaflet included in your package for full wearing guidelines.
MY EYE CARE PROFESSIONAL RECOMMENDED A DIFFERENT WEARING SCHEDULE FOR MY CONTACT LENSES THAN WHAT IS RECOMMENDED IN THE PACKAGE INSERT. WHICH IS CORRECT?
It is customary for a manufacturer to include a recommended replacement schedule for its products in the product package inserts, fitting guide booklets and in some cases on the packaging itself. Such recommendations provide a reference point for those eye care professionals who are looking for such information. Anesthesia supports and recommends frequent replacement of contact lenses. Because each patient’s eyes are different, only your eye care professional can determine the appropriate contact lens replacement for you.
HOW DO I APPLY MY CONTACTS?
Instructions for the insertion and removal of your lenses are detailed in a comprehensive leaflet included with your Anesthesia Lenses.
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY COLOUR CONTACTS?
Care for your colour contacts as you would for any other soft contact lenses with Multi-Purpose Solution. Your eye care professional will instruct you on how to properly care for your contacts.
